About the
Wayfinder

My past misalignments, core knowledge and skills that built this, arguably perfect, alignment method.

Hi fellow trees,
I’m Demetri.

Whether you’re here out of curiosity or scepticism, welcome! Take what serves you.

The questions that sparked my journey were vast, but four curiosities led the way: Is the inner critic ever valid? Is suffering really inherent to human experience? Why do children “grow up”? Does life have a code that can be cracked?

The answers: No. No. Because we tell them to. Yes.

One of my biggest frustrations as a kid was asking “Why?” and hearing “Because I said so.” So I kept asking why, and found the answers with the help of many brilliant scientists. With some massive luck to be born in this era of scientific depth, life turns out to be far more solvable than we’ve been taught. And I’ll discuss any part of it with anyone, in as much depth as they like.

There’s one catch… What you believe decides what you can even accept. If you’re sure there’s no code to find, you’ll never be able to accept one.

If you can entertain the idea that your suffering isn’t necessary, hit me up and let’s get you aligned.

My experience with misalignment:

  • Worry, negative self-talk & overexplaining
  • Doom-scrolling, over-spending & chronic tension
  • Weed, drinking & McDonald’s 4× a week
  • High-dose Citalopram, Vyvanse & steroids

My core beliefs knowledge:

1. We are all the same; therefore inherent worth doesn’t exist. I mean this, literally. Same atoms, same origin, same Big Bang. If we are all continually recycled cosmic molecules, then the idea of being enough can never be satisfied. The phrase “You are enough” contributes to the myth. The ideal phrase is “You are.” but that doesnt sound as captivating, does it?

2. Nobody is self-made. I will forever be a patchwork of my parents, my friends, my lovers, the animals, the trees, and more than a few social media influencers. It took plenty of mistakes and burnt bridges to get here, and I’ve promised myself to give my energy to others, out of gratitude to everyone who once gave theirs to me.

3. Joy lives in non-judgmental play. Remember laughing so hard at a mistake that it stopped mattering? That lightness is what I’m talking about. So much of the harsh self-talk we carry fades once we give ourselves permission to play, stumble and laugh again, without keeping score.
